It's officially summer and time for our signature Hike, Bike, and Paddle event. We are hosting this year's event virtually to make it accessible to all! We invite you to get outside when it’s safe and enjoy the natural beauty of our state while doing some physical activity with your family and friends.
We know many Vermonters have been impacted by the floods and want to support the recovery work being done – scroll down for details.
How to Participate
From Saturday, July 29 through Sunday, August 13, share photos of yourself, your family, and friends getting outside to hike, bike, paddle, or volunteer in your community – whatever activity you choose. Post your photos to Facebook or Instagram and tag Blue Cross Vermont, or use the hashtag #HBPVT.
For each photo shared, we will donate $5 to Camp Exclamation Point, an organization that provides continuity and community to underserved rural Vermont kids through a week-long residential summer camp.
Tip: Post as many photos as you like — the more you post, the better your chances of winning! If you don’t have access to social media, email your photos to events@bcbsvt.com.
Flooding Update
As you may have noticed, we have pushed back our Hike, Bike, and Paddle event dates this year to allow more time for our community to heal from the catastrophic damage brought on by flood waters. Across our green mountain state, our neighbors are still recovering and are in need of assistance. To recognize the hard work, we will honor photo submissions of any volunteer efforts. Register to join an organized volunteer opportunity.

Prize Package
In August, we’ll randomly pick one submission to receive a prize package of a new kayak, paddle, and personal flotation device — a package valued at more than $800!
