Banish the winter blues this year by participating in Blue Cross Blue Cross VT's Snow Days event. You can participate in person or by sharing your photos to help us give back.

Berlin, Vermont – Banish the winter blues this year by participating in Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont’s (Blue Cross VT) Snow Days event.

Blue Cross VT, Vermont’s only local, non-profit health plan, holds its Snow Days event each winter to help Vermonters get outside and be active. Enjoying the great winter activities that Vermont offers connects people with nature, builds ties within the community, and supports personal wellness.

How to participate in Snow Days:

  • Join us at an In-Person Event. Free in-person events will be held January 27 at the Mountain Top Inn and Resort in Chittenden, Feb. 3 at the Prospect Mountain Nordic Ski Center in Woodford, and Feb. 10 at the Lyndon Outing Club in Lyndonville. Each event is 10 am – 1 pm and will have free access to trails and equipment. Rentals are limited and offered on a first come first serve basis.
  • Share Your Photos to Give Back. Post your photos of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, or other winter activities on the Blue Cross VT Facebook or Instagram pages using the hashtag #snowdaysvt from January 27 through February 17. For each photo shared, Blue Cross VT will donate $5 to Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports, a non-profit organization that empowers people of all abilities through inclusive sports and recreational programming.
