Pick a Peck of Fun — September 19 to October 4

Apple Days has become a traditional celebration of fall in Vermont! Picking apples is a great way to connect with Vermont’s fresh local food traditions — and it doesn’t get any fresher than straight off the tree.

Our Apple Days 2026 lottery will open on August 10.

On August 24, we will randomly select 2,000 winners to receive an Apple Days voucher, redeemable for a peck of pick-your-own apples at a participating orchard (see list below).

Join our Fall Virtual Challenge! Tag Blue Cross VT in photos of your fall activities on Facebook or Instagram, or send an email to events@bcbsvt.com. We’ll donate the cost of a peck of apples to the Vermont Foodbank for every photo you share through October 4, 2026
